Praetorian The Praetorian Guard protects the Imperial Praetor, Imperial Sub-Praetor, Senators, and those dignitaries whom it pleases the Imperial Praetor to put under such protection. They are specifically trained to protect and will give their lives for whoever it is they are assigned to.  The Praetorian Guard are select military personnel nominated by the Praetor or Senate for outstanding duty.  It is a great honor to be nominated,  and an even larger honor to be chosen.
