The Imperial Senate The Imperial Senate is the legislative body of the Empire. The Senate has the power to: 1. Approve Treaties made with other powers. 2. Removal of Senators and senior executive officers in impeachment trial. 3. Approval of appointments of senior officers in the executive branch. 4. Review policies made by the Imperial Praetor. Members of the Senate are ranked as following: 1. Proconsul of the Imperial Senate: Reviews all records and credentials of members of the Imperial Senate and to create, maintain and amend the official legislative calendar of the Imperial Senate, assisting the Imperial Sub-Praetor and taking his/her place when they are unable to attend Senate meetings. 2. Vice-Proconsul of the Imperial Senate: Assists, with the express direction of the Proconsul of the Imperial Senate in the administration of the Imperial Senate. He/she shall carry out various tasks assigned by the Proconsul of the Imperial Senate from time to time. 3.  Senators:  The General legistlative body representing each member world of the Romulan Star Empire fully recognized as a province.   Senators representing the Empire.
